WHAT IS LAGREE?

Lagree is a workout method designed to build muscular endurance, strength, and cardiovascular fitness. The workout takes place on a Megaformer (a machine specifically designed for the Lagree method) and uses slow, controlled movements to emphasize muscular control and endurance. While Lagree is low-impact on the joints, it is highly intense on the muscles, delivering lasting results in a time-efficient manner.

At Formation, you can expect 45 minutes of fully body, muscle-fatiguing work using the newest rendition of the Megaformer, the Mega Pro. Our workouts are crafted to both challenge and inspire you, pushing you to expand your comfort zone while celebrating your inherent strength. We offer modifications and variations of each exercise to accommodate a wide range of fitness levels.

IT’S MY FIRST TIME. WHAT do i need to know?

Welcome! Your first class is an exciting step in your journey to becoming your strongest self, and we are honored to be part of that journey!

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to meet your instructor, get familiar with the equipment, and review any pertinent details before class. First Timers who arrive after class has started will not be allowed into class, and rebooked free of charge.

We require all clients to wear grip socks during class (see the next FAQ for details).

Here are some tips to make your first class as successful as possible:

  • Arrive early!! Give yourself plenty of time for parking, meeting your instructor, reviewing injuries if any, and purchasing grip socks and water if needed.

  • It takes at least 10 classes to start feeling familiar with the moves, so don’t let your first few classes throw you off. Consistency is the most important part of seeing results from any workout. Stick with it, and you’ll feel yourself getting stronger and more confident in time. Trust us — the results are worth it.

  • There are no “breaks” programmed into class as the continuous muscle tension and minimal transition times add amazing cardiovascular benefits to this workout. However, you are always welcome to take a breather or modify moves if you need to.

  • Please notify your instructor before class if you might require modifications due to injuries / special conditions / pregnancy.

Are grip socks required?

We require all clients to wear grip socks during class. You may bring your own or purchase them at the studio. Please note we offer a special 25% off discount for all Formation First Timers!

WHERE CAN I PARK?

There is a free parking lot with limited spaces right in front of the studio. There is also free street parking around the studio and a large, free parking garage across the street, where the 24-Hour Fitness is located. Please note that the Foothill Gold Line runs across First Ave, so you may want to budget a few extra minutes for any extended stops due to train crossings.

How does the waitlist work?

After adding yourself to the waitlist for a class, you will be notified via email if you’ve been added to that class. The waitlist automatically fills the class up until 4 hours before class starts.

Within 4 hours of class time, a Formation team member will call or email you to confirm if you’d like to be added to the class. If you’re on the waitlist for a class and approaching the 4 hour time frame, please monitor your calls and emails if you’d like to be added to class.

You can remove yourself from the waitlist at any time, without penalty.

What if i need to cancel class?

Reservations may be cancelled without penalty by cancelling up to 6 hours prior to the class start time. As long as you cancel class before this 6-hour period, the class will be returned to your account, and you will not be charged a cancellation fee. For example, if your class starts at 10 AM, you have until 4 AM to cancel without any penalties.

If you cancel within 6 hours of class time, you will be automatically charged a late-cancel fee of $15 and your class will be returned to your account.

If you do not show up to class without canceling, you will be automatically charged a no-show fee of $20 and the your class will be returned to your account.

Cancellations should be made through your Formation account, which can be accessed through our website or the Formation app available here for Apple users and here for Android users. Cancellations may also be made by calling us at (424) 265-8751 and confirming with a staff member.
